Data we collect
To operate Fortax, we collect account information (name, business name, email, phone), transactional data (invoices, inventory, GSTIN, filing records), and technical logs required for security and compliance. We do not sell data to third parties.
How we use your data
Your data is used solely to deliver Fortax services — GST filing, AI chat, analytics, WhatsApp operations, and compliance scoring. Aggregated, anonymized metrics may be used to improve our AI models.
Third-party services
We integrate with GSTN (Government of India), Meta WhatsApp Business, Google (for AI model access), and other infrastructure providers. Each integration is bound by its own privacy terms, which we review.
Data retention
Transactional records are retained as required by Indian tax and compliance laws. You may request deletion of personal account data at any time.
Security
Fortax is protected by Fortax Shield — our seven-layer AI security gateway. HMAC-signed webhooks, encrypted storage, audited backups.
